I know within a bondage scenes you may experience wrist drop from a rope pressing on a nerve, which hopefully will only be temporary.
However if one of your arms or any other body part goes randomly weak, or has an altered sensation any other time of the day, it could be a stroke (blood clot around your brain), and if responding quickly a medical professional will be able to do things to check & potentially help.
If you can get immediate medical attention (up to a few hours if you’re lucky), this may be reversible. Leave it too long (like the person I just heard saying how they left it for two days before speaking with a nurse) : that altered sensation may be permanent, and/or get worse.
