I made a kinky card game…

Over the Christmas and New Year holiday weekend, we had a few rope loving friends over for that interim period (where you’ve seen the family, you haven’t started the New Year celebrations, etc..)

So after some regular group games, seeing as everyone present new about rope (both as a rigger and a bunny), and with my own Bound to Strip board game now finished and just into production, the following game was developed using a regular pack of playing cards (including the two Jokers).

There are probably similar concepts to this game already out there. I haven’t played them or seen them yet. I just made this up, inspired by the presence of others.
This is an ‘open source’ style game of sorts, so please feel free to share it with others, give constructive feedback to make it better. Just don’t do anything commercially with it, nor claim it as your own (but please do link back to / credit ‘Bound to Strip’). Thank you 🙂

‘Bound to Play Cards’ – Kinky Card Game

Introduction:

A collection of kinky people sit in a circle, still clothed (optionally, depending on the group), and take it in turns to tie each other up (whilst also remaining bound themselves).

It’s good for Rope Social events, and other kinky get-togethers.

It works with two players only, and can easily be played with a dozen players as appropriate (we started with four players, plus the rope monitor).

Of course, please always take all the necessary safety precautions, careful rope placement, etc..

Equipment Required:

  • a regular 54 card deck (including the two Jokers).
  • Lots of rope (ideally 3, 6, or 8 meter lengths. Around 4 pieces of rope per person).
  • safety scissors accessible in the middle (and ideally an overview person who doesn’t get tied but can step in as necessary to help quickly).
  • These instructions accessible by all.

Instructions:

  • Shuffle the pack well.
  • Everyone draws a card, and sits in that number order (you sit in number order of lowest to highest numbers in a circle, where Ace is low).. if two people draw the same number card, use the regular order of Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, i.e. the 4 of spades is a higher number than the 4 of hearts). (Shuffle these back into the pack afterwards).
  • Starting with the person who drew the the lowest number, each player sequently draws two cards from the top of the pack, and gets those two areas of their body tied together (i.e. left lower arm to right thigh).
  • the first card you draw – who ties you (colour)
Red suit – player on your right ties you (RED RIGHT)
Black suit – player on your left ties you (BLACK LEFT)

Card Details

  • Ace – truth card (you get asked a question by the person on your first card colour)
  • Two – right lower leg
  • Three – left lower leg
  • Four – right upper leg
  • Five – left upper leg
  • Six – right lower arm
  • Seven – left lower arm
  • Eight – right upper arm
  • Nine – left upper arm
  • Ten – torso
  • Jack – Tied to an area of the lower body (choice of the rigger)
  • Queen – Tied to an area of the upper body (choice of the rigger)
  • King – Have one rope of your choice, untied from you (by the player of the first card colour).
  • Joker – Have one rope of your choice taken off you, and then you add it to anyone else of your choice, linking whichever areas you like.

These follow so the even numbers are your right side of your body working upwards (2, 4, 6, 8), and the odd numbers are the left side of your body working upwards (3, 5, 7, 9).

Other Notes:

  • No cards can be held after your turn, so they must be played immediately, or discarded into the discarded pile.
  • If you get a King/Joker and a number card, the number card is ignored (but do still draw the two cards, in case the second is an Ace or similar).
  • If you draw two of a kind (i.e. two sevens) – no ropes are applied to you this go.

The Winner:

This can be played a number of ways (it’s mainly about the game play that keeps it interesting);

  • The winner is either the last person still able to tie others: If you’re bound so tight you can no longer tie the person on your left or right on request, the next person around the circle ties on your behalf. Until such time as there is only one player left who can still tie anyone.
  • Alternatively, you could set a pre-defined time limit for the game (i.e. 90 minutes). And on that defined time, everyone tries to untie themselves (without scissors). The first person to untie themselves completely, wins. Or the last person to untie themselves, loses. In this game play, speed is of the essence, so each player only gets 3 minutes from a timer, after the cards are drawn, to most effectively tie the two body parts together (and any time left over, can be used adding extra knots to slow down the eventual self-release too).

Other optional additions:

  • You can also use the second card to indicate how you’re tied .. i.e. the red suits indicate being tied sensually. The black suit of the second card means you get tied sadistically.
  • You could also include crotch ropes into the mix (i.e. any number card picked up in combination with an ace, etc.)
  • If you have other equipment, you can also add those in with wild cards (depending on the group playing). i.e. the 10 of Clubs could also be having a ‘wand’ tied to you too. The Jack of Spades could be a gag, etc.. (or if you have two gags, both black Jacks would be a gag, etc.)
