Day 14: How would you say real life BDSM/kink varies from fantasy BDSM/kink? If you haven’t experienced real life BDSM/kink how do you think it might differ?
This very much depends on the partner.
There are of course some fantasies that are more unachievable, particular those involving specific celebrities. And some fantasies which push the boundaries just that bit too far for legal and safety reasons, etc..
However, I do believe most fantasies can be broken down into what it is about the fantasy that drives someone. Is it ultimately the desire to be wanted? Is it the desire to feel certain physical sensations? Is is the chemical releases derived from certain physical actions? Is it all about what goes through your mind at that time? Is it to do with the way you want to be treated?
- Some fantasies may require professional help (in terms of the involvement of professional escorts to assist).
- Others may need a lot of prior planning, preparation and discussion, listing precisely how you want things to happen, and in what way, to match closely enough with what you’ve been desiring for however long.
- Some may require your partner to effectively be a mind reader (although that is something I’ve been working on for years).
- If all else and some particular element is unachievable physically, if you can imagine it, I’m confident hypnosis can be used to bring it into your ‘reality’ of that time (just look at even the basic experiences of people on stage during a hypnosis entertainment show).
I’m a believer in ‘living the dream’, just so long as anyone/everyone else involved in making that fantasy a reality, is under prior agreement.
It may not be a quick process to reach your ultimate fantasy, but in the vast majority of cases, I do believe that what drives someone about a particular fantasy can be reached in reality, in a more than satisfactory way.
I’m really pleased to have already been a part of many fantasies being brought into a reality (both of my own, and others), and I look forward to being involved in many more.
